About Eva
I’m Eva,
My story is about transforming pain into purpose and learning to live a life filled with joy and possibility
The Seeds of Struggle – From a young age, I resented my body and myself. Years of bullying and constant pressure to meet high expectations left me feeling like I was never enough. Becoming a professional athlete deepened these wounds. I trained relentlessly, tried every diet imaginable, and pushed myself to extremes.
Looking back now at photos from those years, I see there was nothing wrong with me.

Running from the Past – As a young adult, I immigrated to the United States on my own. I thought a fresh start would allow me to leave my pain behind. But I quickly learned that I couldn’t run away from myself.
I built a life using the same survival tactics I learned as a child: pleasing others, pushing myself to overachieve, and neglecting my own needs. I believed that by working harder and doing more, I could earn acceptance, never stopping to consider the cost. Beneath it all, I struggled with anxiety and turned to food, parties, and alcohol to numb the overwhelming pain.

The Turning Point – By the end of 2009, I found myself in the hospital, convinced I was dying. I had a panic attack caused by years of self-neglect and unresolved trauma. I realized I had been battling anxiety and panic attacks since I was a child without being aware of it.
I had to confront my life.
The Journey Inward – I began a long and difficult process of healing. For over a decade, I devoted myself to self-discovery and growth. I journaled, meditated, read countless books, attended seminars, and sought support from coaches, therapists, and healers.
Through this journey, I learned so much about myself and understood how my past had shaped me. I thought I was doing better, even though I couldn’t fully let go of the pain of the past when I experienced a loss that shook me to my core.
Facing Grief – Losing my Mom reopened old wounds. Despite all the work I had done, I found myself stuck in patterns of grief, feeling hopeless and weighed down by the past.
In a state of self-sabotage and self-loathing, I realized that I could no longer continue living this way. It was time to release the pain I had carried for so long and create space for something new.
Hope – I made the courageous choice to rebuild my life. Pursuing my Positive Psychology Coaching certification gave me the tools to shift my focus from dwelling on the past to creating a future filled with meaning, hope, and joy.
I took a leap and moved to Los Angeles for a fresh start, ready to embrace the life I had always wanted. I began using everything I had learned over the years—meditation, journaling, self-reflection, and exercise—to reconnect with myself and create the future I desired.
I have begun rebuilding my life, nurturing meaningful relationships, reconnecting with my purpose, and finding joy in living authentically.

I know the depths of hopelessness because I’ve been there. And I know the power of reclaiming your life because I am living it every day.
My mission is to help women who are facing similar struggles, making their journey easier and more fulfilling. Positive Psychology has had a profound impact on my own life, and I want other women to experience the transformation they desire.
I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself, reignite your passion for life, and create a future filled with joy, possibility, and purpose. No matter how stuck or hopeless you may feel, a joyful life is within your reach!
Eva’s Bio
Fitness has played a significant role in Eva Nagy’s life since she was 10 years old, when she started playing tennis in Hungary. While her tennis career didn’t unfold as she had hoped, it paved the way for new opportunities that would shape her future. In 1999, she moved to the United States and worked as a tennis pro but soon decided to explore other paths.
In 2005, Eva returned to her passion for fitness and pursued her first personal training certification in the U.S. through the National Personal Training Institute in Hoboken, New Jersey, along with the NSCA PT, marking the beginning of a career dedicated to helping others achieve their fitness and wellness goals.
Eva began her personal training career at NYSC but quickly realized she wanted to create something more personal. Around 2009, she started her own personal training business, driven by her mission to empower women. Having struggled with body image issues herself, Eva focused on teaching women to embrace self-love and discover their worth beyond physical appearance.
Throughout her career, Eva sought innovative ways to inspire her clients. She was part of the first Aqua Cycling team in Tribeca, taught spinning classes at Prime Cycle in Hoboken. She completed a 200-hour Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training in New York with Hari Kaur Khalsa, Master Kundalini Teacher. Soon after, she created Elevate Movement Therapy, which combined corrective exercises, stress relief, and meditation. She also taught Kundalini yoga classes in Hoboken.
In addition to her fitness work, Eva explored other avenues to connect with her audience. She co-hosted the Konnect and Elevate podcast with Rachel Walters, created personalized meditations and relaxation recordings for her clients, and, in 2019, self-published her book, Weight Loss Through the Soul. The book was born out of her own healing journey and spiritual awakening.
In 2020, during the pandemic, Eva transitioned to a corporate role while focusing on herself, her Mom and family.
In 2023, she began pursuing her Positive Psychology Coaching (PPC) Certification with Wholebeing Institute, which continues to support her as she processes the loss of her Mom and rebuilds her life with renewed purpose and resilience in Los Angeles.
She spends most of her free time connecting with friends, playing pickleball, and enjoying the outdoors—whether hiking or at the beach.
She lives with the intention of embracing an authentic life.
